Investment Mistakes - Take Stock Tips with a Grain of Salt

Taking Stock Tips
A lot of investors want to believe that fortunes can be made overnight. Sometimes people get tricked into believing a stock will jump from $.10 to $25 overnight. That won't happen folks. Don't put your life savings into these penny stocks. Almost 99.5% of the time, the cheap stocks will end up dropping to like $.10 the following day after a small increase. You will be surprise at the number of people who put tons of money into these type of stocks without knowing anything about the company.

Make sure you ask yourself the following questions about the company you are investing in:
- How many years has the company been around?
- Is the company in a good growing industry?
- What does the company's cash flow sheet look like?
- Has the company ran into any money problems or legal issues in the past?
- Does the company have a high P/E ratio already?

These are only some of the vital questions that you need to make sure you get good answers for before you invest your money into any company. Whoever is giving you the stock tip should know the answers to these questions, or else don't pay much attention to their stock tips.
